Jozi

Within 10 days in Joburg we haven’t had time to get bored !

We discovered a city that’s getting prettier, that lives at a hectic rhythm, more integrated than Cape Town, less dangerous and warmer than expected.

Yet we weren’t in a hurry to go there: we aren’t big fans of economic capital cities. But as soon as you meet Joburgers and Sowetans, it becomes much nicer.

The next posts will be dedicated to Simphiwe and Pretty from Alexandra township, Soweto and our historical day on Gandhi-in-SA

Until then, we want to thank our hosts and all of those who gave us some of their time: THANK YOU to Sophie, Tendai, Bram, Lindy, Guillaume, Roanna, Simphiwe, Pretty, Fred, Victor, Reuben, Freedom, Siphokazi, Peacemaker, Tsepho, Eric & Didier for their welcome, their availability, for making us like Joburg and having made our daily life here so nice. We would have loved to stay longer!
